Our table d'hôtes dinners, include as much home produce as we can manage, other ingredients we try to source locally. Here are some sample menus to whet your appetite.


Early Summer Menu

STARTER

Courgette and chorizo crostinni.

Melon.

MAIN COURSE

Marinated rump of lamb kebabs and merguez sticks.

Roast summer vegetables.

CHEESE

A selection of local cheeses.

DESSERT

Chocolate brownie cake with hot chocolate sauce.

Peach meringue with lemon cream.

Coffee and home made truffles.


Mid Summer Menu

STARTER

Roast tomato tart with flower salad.

Melon.

MAIN COURSE

French country chicken with lardons, shallots and mustard.

Roasted roots.

CHEESE

A selection of local cheeses.

DESSERT

Vanilla and lemon cheesecake.

Chocolate fudge cake.

Coffee and home made truffles.


Late Summer Menu

STARTER

Chicken liver paté with onion and redcurrant marmalade.

Melon

MAIN COURSE

Barbequed, butterflied leg of lamb with garlic and herbs.

Marinated aubergines and red peppers.

CHEESE

A selection of local cheese.

DESSERT

Lemon meringue pie.

Pear and chocolate crumble

Coffee and home made truffles.
