Travel Directions.

We hope to provide pretty much everything you will need for the campsite. The site is mainly grass and wildflowers so can be wet first thing in the morning. It is a good idea to bring wellies for the kids if you have them, for morning jaunts to the hen house. If you don't have kids wellies let me know, as we have lots of spare pairs and I can reserve a pair for you to borrow, if I know the size.

If you are arriving later on a Saturday, remember most shops are closed on Sunday in France. We do have a small Spar in the town, which is not bad for supplies, and the village bakery is open in the morning, but it might be worth bringing some food with you. The farm shop is always available.

How To Find Us.

By car or from the airport at Limoges.

Leave the autoroute at junction 23 (direction Gueret N145).

Follow signs for Gueret, you will come onto the N145, a dual carriageway.

Leave at the first exit, direction St Maurice La Souterraine.

At the top of the slip road, turn Right, and continue into the centre of St Maurice La Souterraine.

In the centre of the village is a crossroads, Take the Left turn, direction Bussière Madelaine. You will drive back over the N145 on a bridge, continue for 2km (1.5 miles).

You will arrive at a small crossroads, marked Merle Blanc. Turn Left, direction St Hilaire La Treille.

Drive for 2km (1.5 miles), going through the hamlet of Grand Bessac, and you will find La Tuilerie on the Left. There is a name plate with 'La Tuillerie' spelt wrong, at the end of the drive and a large stone. Turn in to the farm and come and say hello.

FROM THE SOUTH, leave the A20 at junction 23a, this will take you onto the N145, then follow the directions above. If you arrive at Limoges airport and hire a car, you will come to us from this direction.
