The Way of St JamesWe are situated only 2km from the 'Way of St James' or the 'Chemin de St Jacques' as it passes from Busière Madelaine to La Souterraine. We are ideally suited as pilgrim accommodation,as we can provide meals, food supplies, and grazing for any horses or donkeys.
Above are M & Mme Donné who are making the pilgrmage from St Quentin in Northern France, all the way to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, on foot with their donkey. They stayed with us for a couple of days to have a rest and let 'Jesu' the donkey have some well earned grass. It had been a struggle to find boarding for him along the way and he enjoyed his break with us enormously. We wish them a safe and sucessful onward journey.
