Our Tipis and Yurts

Our tipis and yurts all have space for 6 or 8, this can be a double futon and 4 singles, or 2 doubles and 2 singles. If your group is smaller we will take out the extra futons to give you extra space. There are travel cots available for babies.
We supply pillows and duvets or sleeping bags for the kids, if they prefer. We provide bed linen and towels.
Each tipi has a wooden floor and central chiminea to ensure that 'cosy' feel in the evenings, especially at the beginning and end of the season. The yurt has a woodburning stove and chimney.
"Relaxed to the point of horizontal, I must remember to pick up my son before I leave. Thanks for a wonderful week." Emma, Jamie & Eve, England.

We supply fire safe pans, kettle and utensils for cooking over an open fire. Plates, bowls and cutlery along with basic cooking equipment are in each tipi and yurt. There is a much larger supply of cooking equipment in the farmhouse which can be taken to your tipi if you want. There are gas primus stoves available for outdoor cooking if you do not wish to light a fire.
There is a large cool bag for each tipi or yurt, with an ample supply of ice packs in the farmhouse freezer. The fridge in the farmhouse is for everybody to use, so your coolbag is just a handy store for drinks, water etc.
There is an outdoor seating area and table at each tipi or yurt, and another seating area with tables outside the farmhouse.
Check our 2010 availability calendar.
